Connecticut Field Pumpkins are an heirloom variety, and one of the oldest pumpkins in existence. While traditionally used as decoration or for jack-o-lanterns, it is sometimes used for culinary purposes, though not recommended.
Each medium pumpkin is approximately 4.5 pounds and each large pumpkin is approximately 6 pounds.
