American Tree Farm System - A program of the American Forest Foundation's Center for Family Forests, is committed to sustaining forests, watershed and healthy habitats through the power of private stewardship.
Audubon at Home - Through the Audubon at Home Program, an initiative of the National Audubon Society, administered locally by Audubon New York and the Bedford Audubon Society, Snow Hill Farm has been awarded the highest level of Bird Habit Certification for its organic farming practices, habitat management plans and creation of a bird friendly property within a working farm.  Please click below to see the Seasonal Birds surveyed at Snow Hill Farm this fall by John Hannan and the Bedford Audubon Society. Audubon Women In Conservation - Where you will meet some of the most influential and important women in today's American conservation and environmental world. The immense talent, expertise and energy of these women is changing everything, advancing the goals and meeting the challenges of our ever more important environmental movement.
New York Farm Bureau - A non-governmental, volunteer organization financed and controlled by families for the purpose of solving economic and public policy issues challenging the agriculture industry.
Northeast Organic Farming Association (NOFA) – A non-profit organization of nearly 4,000 farmers, gardeners and consumers working to promote healthy food, organic farming practices and a cleaner environment.
Watershed Agricultural Council (WAC) - A non-profit organization with the mission to support the economic viability of agriculture and forestry through the protection of water quality and the promotion of land conservation in the New York City watershed region. Snow Hill Farm has been a member farm since inception. Currently, Snow Hill Farm is working with WAC on an expanded compost facility scheduled for completion in 2009.
